Welcome Address
It is my great honour and privilege to welcome you to the International Congress of Transgender Health (ICTH) 2026, to be held from 9–11 February 2026 at the Keio Plaza Hotel Sapporo, Japan.
ICTH 2026 brings together an international community of clinicians, surgeons, researchers, and allied health professionals who are committed to advancing the science, safety, and compassion of transgender healthcare. As the field of gender-affirming care continues to evolve rapidly, there is an increasing need for rigorous discussion, evidence-based practice, and thoughtful refinement of both medical and surgical approaches.
This year’s congress is centred on the theme “Precision, Safety, and Aesthetics in Gender-Affirming Care.” Through plenary lectures, expert panels, surgical video forums, and hands-on workshops, ICTH 2026 aims to provide a comprehensive and multidisciplinary platform for knowledge exchange. Particular emphasis has been placed on surgical outcomes, aesthetic refinement, complication management, ethical practice, and long-term patient wellbeing.
We are honoured to welcome a distinguished faculty of international and regional experts who will share their experience and insights across the full spectrum of transgender health. Beyond the scientific programme, ICTH 2026 also offers valuable opportunities for professional dialogue, collaboration, and the strengthening of global networks within our field.
